New WHO climate-health guide co-authored by CAHA
Friday 22 March 2024
CAHA co-authored the first global climate-health communication guide with the World Health Organization, now available. This landmark resource highlights how climate change threatens health, while also pointing to the significant health benefits that can be achieved through climate action.
At CAHA, we recognise the importance of clear and effective communication in helping communities understand climate-related health risks and the opportunities for prevention and improved wellbeing. Health professionals play a critical role as trusted messengers, and this guide is designed to support them in engaging patients and communities on climate and health.
Developed in collaboration with international partners, CAHA is proud to have contributed to this global effort. We acknowledge CAHA staff member Remy Shergill as a co-author, alongside Shreya Shrikhande, with support from Marina Maiero and Alexandra Egorova.
