Come to our webinar series on climate risk governance for health boards

Tuesday 20 October 2020

CAHA is pleased to be hosting a Webinar series with leading climate risk specialists Sarah Barker and Charlotte Turner from law firm Minter Ellison on Climate risk and governance as it relates to the strategy and oversight obligations of health sector boards
There are two Webinars in the series being held in November:
  1. Managing upwards – what matters to your board on climate change risk? (This session took place on Wednesday 4th November)
  2. Fiduciary duties in a changing climate – climate change risk governance obligations for health sector directors (***Limited registrations available)

The first session Managing upwards – what matters to your board on climate change risk?, took place on Wednesday 4 November. It was for anyone working in the health sector who wanted to learn how to frame climate change as a risk (and opportunity) through a finance and liability lens, and be empowered to engage in a way that is most relevant to director decision-making.

The second session, Fiduciary duties in a changing climate – climate change risk governance obligations for health sector directors, will be for board directors only. Board directors will learn about the relationship between their statutory duties and climate change risk (and opportunity) through a finance and liability lens, and understand the steps required to satisfy their corporate governance obligations.

When: Monday 23 November, 12noon - 1pm AEDT
Registrations are limited.
