CAHA is pleased to promote the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) World Health Promotion Conference in Rotorua, New Zealand, in April 2019. Held every three years, the conference attracts several thousand delegates. The theme for the 2019 event is WAIORA: Promoting Planetary Health and Sustainable Development for All.

The conference aims to provide "an unparalleled opportunity to link and demonstrate the contribution of health promotion to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to acknowledge the way SDGs contribute to improvements in health and well-being".
The IUHPE World Health Promotion Conference is held every three years, attracting several thousand delegates. Key speakers at the 2019 event will include Tony Capon, Mason Durie, Trevor Hancock, Michael Marmot and more.
This conference will be the Australian Health Promotion Association (AHPA) key conference of 2019, and will be supporting their colleagues at the NZ Health Promotion Forum, who are hosting the event.
