Thank you, Roland: CAHA CEO steps down

The CAHA Board has accepted the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Mr Roland Sapsford, effective from 26 September 2023.
Roland has made the difficult decision to resign so he can focus on his health and spend more time on family matters in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Board extends its gratitude to Roland for his leadership and integrity, in a challenging and changing environment, and his commitment to upholding CAHA’s stellar reputation.
Roland will be remembered for his collaboration and innovation, as well as his genuine care and concern for people. He laid the foundations for CAHA 2.0 and will remain a strong supporter of our work. We wish Roland all the best in the future.
Recruitment for a new CEO will commence shortly. In the meantime, the CAHA Board and outstanding team of staff remain committed to continuing the vital work of addressing the impacts of climate change on health.
