Event details
The Climate and Health Alliance (CAHA) is thrilled to announce the launch of Australia’s FIRST Youth Climate and Health Summit – an exciting, two-day event designed to empower the next generation of climate and health change makers!
Taking place over two dynamic days, the Summit will bring together passionate young people aged 15-30 who are eager to explore the powerful intersection of climate change and health. This is more than just a conference - it's a platform for collaboration, creativity and action.
Day One: Learning and Connection
The first day will lay the groundwork, offering inspiring presentations, interactive break outs and opportunities for peer-to-peer learning. Participants will engage directly with leading voices in the climate and health sector, gaining insights, tools and mentorship to spark big ideas and meaningful change.
Day Two: The Climate x Health Hackathon
Armed with new knowledge and feeling inspired, participants will roll up their sleeves for our hackathon. Working in teams alongside expert mentors, they'll develop actionable, creative solutions to real-world, local climate and health challenges. The day will culminate in a pitch showcase judged by an expert panel. The winning team will receive an award and ongoing support to help bring their idea to life.
Whether you're a student, health professional, activist or aspiring policymaker, this is your chance to be part of a national movement for change.
The Summit is completely free and open to young people aged 15-30.
Stay tuned – we’ll be announcing the full program and speaker lineup soon.
