Climate change is impacting people's health with increasing severity. West Australians are experiencing the impacts from heatwaves, bushfires, and eco-anxiety. Health professionals are in a unique position to advocate for climate action. 

At this moment ahead of the WA election, we invite WA health professionals to join us for a training session on taking climate action to protect health.

The training is free to attend and will include:

• An overview of the impacts of climate change on health by Dr. Brett Montgomery (GP)
• Introduction to community organising by Jaime Yallup Farrant (Climate Justice Union)
• Advocacy tips and resources by Jessica Rosien (Climate and Health Alliance)

The training will be run via Zoom from 6:30-8pm AWST, Tuesday, 23 February.
