Media Training -- Climate and Health Alliance

Health professionals are the most trusted members of our community, making health professionals powerful messengers for building public understanding of the health impacts of climate change, as well as public support for climate action.

We're running a 75-minute online media training for health professionals interested in developing their skills in order to speak with the media on climate change and health.

The training is free to attend and will cover tips on:

  • How to talk about climate change and health -- and how not to talk about climate change and health
  • How to get key messages across in a short interview
  • Speaking and working with journalists

The training will be run via Zoom from 6pm to 7:15pm AEDT, Thurs 3 December.

Places are limited, so please only register if you're confident you can attend. Please let Adam know as soon as possible if you cannot make the training for some reason.

The Climate and Health Alliance is Australia's peak body on climate change and health. Our mission is to build a powerful health sector movement for climate action and sustainable healthcare. Join us: become a member here.

This training is being offered through our Real, Urgent and Now: Communicating the Health Impacts of Climate Change project, supported by Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation
