With your help, our work can help embed health at the heart of decision-making.

Climate change is hitting communities harder than ever, bringing more extreme weather and straining our healthcare systems.

We need ambitious action now across all parts of our society to reduce emissions, and make our healthcare systems resilient.

Together we shaped the National Health and Climate Strategy, but without enough funding for implementation, we're stuck.

That's where the Climate and Health Alliance (CAHA) plays a crucial role. With the collective power of 100+ healthcare organisations working together, we connect research, policy, and action, empowering the health community in every part of Australia from remote to urban environments. But we can't do it alone.

We need your help to raise $50,000 by the end of June.

Every dollar you give will directly fund our capacity to scale our efforts to meet the growing demand for climate and health leadership - building our team of passionate, highly skilled professionals to embed health at the heart of policy and action on climate, showcase examples of healthy climate solutions, and inspire practical action.

Your tax deductible gift will power CAHA’s efforts to:

  • Influence policy to encourage and guide effective, integrated health and climate policies covering both mitigation and adaptation at regional, federal, and global levels.
  • Train and support spokespeople from the health sector as “go-to” commentators on climate and health.
  • Empower health professionals with the tools and confidence to advocate for climate action.
  • Provide targeted training for the health workforce, enabling them to become powerful voices for change.
  • Mobilise leaders of health and medical organisations to be visible champions for change.
  • Produce research briefs, policy papers, submissions, and reports to create a powerful evidence base for action.
  • Engage with decision-makers to turn evidence into programs and initiatives to deliver results for communities.

Thank you for joining us in our efforts to move towards a healthy, regenerative and just future for all.
