About CARE

Introducing the Community of Action for the Reduction of Emissions (CARE) program, a multi-year program (2025-26) funded by Health Care Without Harm which will build an international community focused on learning, innovation and collaboration for climate action and decarbonisation of healthcare.

The healthcare sector is uniquely positioned to drive the transition to a low-carbon and sustainable future. Healthcare facilities worldwide can collaborate and share knowledge to accelerate this transformation.

By uniting expertise, exchanging ideas, and cultivating a pioneering community of practice, the sector can adopt best practices, promote innovation, and reduce its overall climate impact.

About the program

The CARE program is an exclusive for Global Green and Healthy Hospitals (GGHH) members and will be rolled out regionally in Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific.
