Media Training: Climate & Health

Health professionals are the most trusted members of our community, making health professionals powerful messengers for building public understanding of the health impacts of climate change, as well as public support for urgent climate action.

We're partnering with the Climate Media Centre to run a 60-minute online media training for health professionals interested in developing their media and communications skills in order to speak with the media on climate change and health.

The training is free to attend and will cover tips on:

  • How to talk about climate change and health -- and how not to talk about climate change and health
  • How to work with journalists
  • How to get key messages across in a short interview

The training will be run via Zoom from 3:30pm to 4:30pm AEDT, Thurs 29 October.

Places are limited, so please only register if you're confident you can attend. Please let Adam know as soon as possible if for some reason you cannot make the training.

If you cannot attend this training, don't worry! We'll run another soon. Please email Adam on [email protected] to express interest in a future training.
